One of the biggest benefits of online learning is that it is flexible. It allows a student to take a class on their time and their schedule. Now don’t get me wrong, there are due dates and deadlines the students are held accountable for. But as far as coming to campus on a set day at a set time, that is no longer required.
It also enables the student the opportunity to go back and review materials covered in class. They can be posted online for the students to review, and in doing so, they can study, they can find other web links, they can continue their research on that given topic, things that maybe you don’t have time for in a traditional class setting.
You also can have instructors from anywhere in the world. They can be on your local campus, they can be in your state or they can be from anywhere, like Europe, and they are the content experts then teaching your students.
Overall, students have better instruction from online class work in the fact that it is flexible, it allows them to go back and review material and to be taught from content experts.
