NC-ACCESS, an expansion project of the North Carolina Network for Excellence in Teaching, is an initiative dedicated to developing and providing professional development programs for student development personnel at North Carolina’s community colleges. This website serves as a clearinghouse for all North Carolina Community College System student development services information.

The goal of NC3ADL (North Carolina Community College Association of Distance Learning) is to create a distance learning community that will promote networking and provide an open means of discussion, sharing of best practices, and communication of distance learning issues across the North Carolina Community College system (NCCCS).
NC3ADL was established by North Carolina community college faculty, staff, and administrators who are directly involved with distance learning and recognized the need to:
• FACILITATE communication among distance learning administrators and faculty throughout the
  North Carolina Community College System.
• PROVIDE leadership for quality distance learning in the NCCCS.
• ADVOCATE policies, practices, and resources that promote quality distance learning.
• IMPROVE the distance learning experiences of NCCCS students and instructors.
• PROMOTE the professional development and support of members.
The NC3ADL is an educational non-profit organization. Membership is open to all persons interested in supporting and promoting distance learning in the North Carolina Community College System.

NC-NET offers community college faculty in North Carolina a collaborative, statewide professional development system committed to sharing best practices, leveraging resources, and avoiding duplication. To encourage a comprehensive and balanced approach to professional development, NC-NET organizes its resources into programmatic strands such as:

• Career and Personal Development
• Classroom Technology
• Distance Learning
• College Tech Prep
Partnerships with statewide networks allow NC-NET to also offer resources on student development, cooperative education, and teaching students with limited English proficiency.
